The joke is the syrup that makes the sale go down easily.
Obviously, because I’m Australian, I find Australian ads the funniest - particularly, when they show big characters in small situations.
But what separates the great from the good are the performances. They need to be hyper-real to withstand repeat viewings - and if I had to watch these five ads every day for the rest of my life, it wouldn’t be a problem.
