It breaks my heart to hear of the passing of your beloved Kaspar mate. I know how much he meant to you and my heart goes out to you and Amanda. He couldn't have found a better home for this world and I hope you find each other again in the next. Much love to you all 😥

So sorry for the loss of Kaspar Zwary! It sounds like he gave you and Amanda much joy and fond memories over 18 years. A 95 human years feline is a terrific innings, just eclipsing Des and The Don! Our best friends teach us a lot about life, ourselves and unconditional love. A

Sorry for your loss, Adam. Seeing a cat’s personality emerge and evolve is something I think you need to experience to really appreciate.

Your words about your dear Kaspar are so loving and beautiful. It’s a huge loss when we must say good bye to these dear companions. It surely does hurt, and we never forget them. Much sympathy to you both.

So sorry to read of Kaspar's passing, Adam, You & Amanda have a giant hole that will take some time too mend, but the memories will remain. I was floored at how much the passing of Buzz hit me, so I feel your pain. They were undoubtedly a gift from the heavens. My condolences for your loss.

So sorry Adam. We said goodbye to our 17YO cat yesterday. Probably a bit cruel to say that she was a weirdo. Let's just say she was unusual. But she was every bit a part of the family as the other animals and us.

Vale Kaspar. We've had a number of Burmese, such attitude and personality, but affectionate beneath the bravado.

Commiserations. For your loss.

I was never a cat person until I moved into George (Burmilla) and Tasha (Rag Doll) mum’s place.

George was Mr Charisma and he wore me down with his extensive conversation and mink-like grey coat. Tasha wasn’t so approachable- quiet and with terrible skin . I used to refer to her as “the wee scabby cat”.

As they aged both became very needing of a lap and a pat. At 17 (George) and 21 (Tasha) their kidneys packed it in and it was the one way trip to the vet.

We miss them both like crazy and we’ve been reluctant to invite a new one in because, well, we worry that there might be only one George and Tash out there and they would be a ridiculously hard act to follow.

Beautiful tribute Adam. What a hole in our lives is left when our most loyal and devoted family members leave us. We are dog people, but relented when our daughter begged for a cat, and welcomed gorgeous Esmé, the Tonkinese into our home just over a year ago. She travels between the kids bedrooms and her basket, while constantly looking for opportunities to dart out any open door. Can't imagine what we ever did without her. Vale Kaspar
